The loss

Combining passion with purpose and conveying a sense of why fuels my expression. This work is executed in the wet cyanotype process. A simple act of making multiple impressions of found feathers with turmeric and soap water. I aimed to keep the organic essence of the concept intact.
The world witnessed horrific sights of immense human loss during the pandemic. This was a phase when I was reflecting upon the idea of loss in its literal and philosophical terms. Though nothing is permanent, transformation is inevitable. I came across an experience staged for an experiential video and photographic documentation in a chicken coop. The first rule of manifestation is intention. Following my instincts, I did this installation-based project.
